The Barbara Street development was purchased from the Salvation Army at auction. There was a Salvation Army citadel situated on lots 15 and 16 with a brick veneer house occupying majority of lot 15. A two storey hall occupied lots 17 and 18. All of these structures were removed and the site was cleared. At the rear of the development was a drainage canal. With our co-ordination Fairfield City Council had the canal concreted over and Harris Lane was created for rear access for all of Barbara Streets future developments. With this improvement in the access for all of the lots, we marketed and sold the land.
