Details:

WD Capital through its associated companies participated in the NSW Biobanking Scheme to save ecologically endangered communities in the environment. The companies worked to restore the landscape to its original condition prior to European settlement. The scheme allowed for the trading of biodiversity offsets to allow for a capital return and for long term management sustainability of the sites.

Construction Details:
The property, previously known and trading as The Blacktown City Rugby League and Sports Club Ltd ceased trading in 2007 and was sold. WD Capital purchased the site and applied to the NSW Government to rezone the site to Residential 2a. In the interim, the club was leased to The Philippine Entertainment Network for a period of 3 years as a restaurant. Development plans were designed and lodged into Blacktown City Council for the construction of 18 x 4 bedroom townhouses. Major civil works were undertaken to connect storm water to the site from Hartington Street. In 2010 the site was finally rezoned, approved and sold with DA and CC plans to a local building company.
